This is the picture of America. Its a cheap gaudy escalator that takes you from one place filled with unnecessary things and people to another place filled with unnecessary things and people. But hey, at least your moving up. Only problem is, nobody else in the rest of the world gives a fuck. Yes America, you are a great nation, be proud America, be proud of your mechanical stairs that were probably made in China to carry your obese peoples from one place of counter productive consumption to another. But hey, we still have freedom of speech right. And as Mark Twain once said 'It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them'.
